It was my first time coming here. A hidden gem. I can’t believe this was in my area all along. Food was delicious and I loved the vibe. Lovely staff and I can’t wait to come back
This is gem! Delicious burger and fries! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I was greeted immediately and invited to choose my booth. Love the decor in here as well. I've been twice and will absolutely be back again. The pricing was reasonable and fair. Parking is limited so get there early.
A fun little eatery, styled and operated as an old fashion roadside diner, that offers good food and great service. The burgers themselves are decent. To me, the patties were a bit small and thin for my liking but the burger still tasted great. They simply produce a nice, classic diner burger. Also, despite its name, Burger Hut offers a moderate selection of other dishes, including soups, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast entrees. Otherwise, the service was both excellent and fast. Prices were very reasonable. My only gripe is the place is rather small and parking can be a bit of a pain.
I usually get takeout. But the dining room is great too. Cool fifties decor. I love their burgers and sweet potato fries (you need to specifically ask for those, as they are not on the menu). Another of my favorites is fish and chips.
This spot was so cute. The whole vibe was throwback to the 50's and it was fun to look around. The food was classic diner food but our waitress was what made our visit so enjoyable. She took the time to ask about you and what you are doing, enjoyable conversation with alot of history on the restaurant. She was bubbly, kind and had a great smile would go back if I knew she would be there.
My fella and I had been told about this place by a couple of guys we met. They tempted him with stories of malted shakes like the old days. That's what this place is all about. Old fashioned burgers, fries and shakes. Real story here is Irene who has worked for the owners for 18 years. Cheerful and quick witted, she made us feel at home and made sure our food was just what we ordered. Keith was thrilled with the malt. Just what he wanted. I ordered ice tea, brewed in house, which was just the ticket. Cheese burgers just like old days. I'm sure to pay later but I shed the bottom bun and put lettuce on the meat. Cheese stuck to top bun, l can taste the sauce in my mind. Even tater tots tasted yummy like only taboo can. Bucket list cafes for the old man. I'll let my enzyme capsules help me as much as they can. Tomorrow, I'll be back on the wagon again. I'll be trying to delay the inevitable. A return to here is most likely. If you'd like the cheerful Irene to be your waitress, come earlier. She tries to leave by 3. I forgot to say I do love the atmosphere. It's fun for a novelty trip.
Swung by Hubbard to knock another town off of #TheGreatOregonBurgerBucketList. Was delighted to see a classic burger joint on the road! Burger hut has classic charm, like a roadside 50s diner from a movie. They were absolutely swamped but stayed very helpful and friendly Great crinkle cut fries but needed salt added... Health conscious! Tots were superb Homemade coleslaw was on point. Fresh and delicious. Quality burger! Fresh and clean. Simple burger with everything you'd expect.p Bacon was savory and stood on its own flavor without pepper, maple, or any frills. The combo of bacinMade quick and without flaw- even though every table in the restaurant was full! We had milkshakes for dessert, and what a great decision! They were more than happy to blend flavors and they were just thin enough to be easy to drink. A quick jaunt along 99 East brings you to the charming town of Hubbard and one heck of a solid burger stop with The Burger Hut. Great service, quick to get you food, fresh ingredients with quality prep, prices that can't be beat, and that classic 50s diner feel. Love it!
